Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your pet. We will treat your pet like one of our own! Your pet will be staying in either a run or den depending on size. We have runs large enough to accommodate two large dogs if you would prefer that they stay together. Our kennel is climate controlled and periodically ventilated 24 hours a day to ensure there is a continuous supply of fresh air (our kennel does not smell.). Unlike human hotels, we will change your pet’s bedding and clean and sanitize their run or den at least twice a day. Also do not worry about bringing in blankets or bedding as we have plenty for your pet.

During your dog’s stay here, he or she will be exercised at least twice daily. Pets are individually exercised. If you do not bring food in, we will feed your pet twice daily, gourmet meals using a premium prescription food, Iams/Eukanuba Low Residue. Iams/Eukanuba Low Residue food is easy on your pet’s digestive system and minimizes diarrhea. If your pet is on a therapeutic diet please bring your pet’s food.

If your pet is here seven days or more we provide a complementary bath and toe nail trim. We can also provide this baths and/or toe nail trims for a modest charge if your pet is staying less than a week.

Our staff is trained to give medicines to your pet, including insulin injections. There is a modest daily treatment charge if we need give your pet medicines.

To ensure the safety of your pet and our other guests, we require all boarders to be current on their vaccinations and heartworm/parasite checks. If your pet gets these items elsewhere, we will need records from the appropriate veterinarian showing they are current. We can provide necessary vaccinations and/or checks while your pet is here along with the appropriate examinations. For your convenience, dentals, tests, and other procedures can be performed during your pet’s stay.

We require the following vaccinations and checks:
Dogs – Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Heartworm, & Fecal
Cats – Rabies, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, Felv/FIV test, & Fecal
Ferrets - Rabies, Distemper

Our kennel staff checks your pet when he/she first comes here and during their stay here. In the event we find fleas or other internal or external parasites we will treat your pet. Our medical staff will examine your pet if we identify more serious health issues. It is important that we have an accurate emergency phone number so that we can let you know our findings. If we cannot contact you, we will treat your pet. Any treatments will be at your expense. Sick pets are normally housed in the medical area.

If possible we ask that you drop-off and pick-up your pet at least 30 minutes before daily closing. Sunday and holiday pick-ups are possible if you pre-pay. There is a nominal surcharge for Sunday and holiday pick-ups, which are between 4:30-5:30. If you are having someone else picking up your pet please let us know, so we can release your pet to the proper person.
