2014 Community Contributor of the Year

Impromed_Community_Contributor_AwardBesides for caring for thousands of cats, dogs, and pocket pets in 2014, the Big Creek Pet Hospital team was busy serving the community in a variety of ways. Maybe you helped out or were at one or more of the following events:

Safety Town

This past summer, Big Creek Pet Hospital teamed up with the Olmsted Early Childhood PTA, Middleburg Hts and Berea Police Departments to present Safety Town. The program teaches children entering kindergarten how to prevent accidents in their everyday lives involving fire, traffic, bicycles, strangers and animals. Dr. Fegan and the Big Creek Pet Hospital team taught special classes on how to safely interact with familiar neighborhood dogs as well as unfamiliar stray dogs. This year approximately 300 children were taught. See our two YouTube videos On How To Meet A Strangers Dog and Silly Monkey And The Strange Dog Video.
