Staff Happenings in 2013



Dr. Fegan and Ed attended the Three Rivers Veterinary Conference in Pittsburgh in November.

Dr. Souders and his wife, Anna, welcomed their first child, a son, Joshua, and the new family will soon move into their first home.

Dr. Zabik and her family welcomed a new four-legged member, a Jack Russell Terrier named Cricket.

Gill, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), celebrated 25 years with this veterinary practice. She must have been a child when she started working with Dr. Fegan!

Michelle, RVT, enjoyed her first visit to Disney World with her husband, Matt, and their twins, Jacob and Samantha.

Megan, RVT, and her husband, Steve, are expecting their first child, a girl, in the spring. Congratulations!

Eliza, RVT, adopted Gunner, a Pit Bull Terrier puppy, from the Muttley Crüe Rescue group where she is an active member.

Bill, Marketing Coordinator, joined the practice in May, working along side his dad, Ed.

Susan, Grooming and Kennel Manager, continues to breed and show her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with success. Atom finished his AKC Championship and Jojo has started her show career with a bang, already winning three Best of Breed awards.

Kim F., Client Relations Manager, has seen some milestones this year. Her oldest graduated from college and her middle child started college. And the entire family went on their first (and probably last) cruise!

Kim G., Client Relations Specialist, and her husband, Richard, hosted an open house at their cabin and shared the process of firing their wood kiln. What a fun day it was!

Shelly, CRS, enjoyed her trip to France this past summer, but she didn’t see any French poodles while she was there!

Andi, Lead Patient Advocate, enjoyed her first cruise vacation, a trip to the Bahamas.

Kayleigh, Patient Advocate, began Vet Tech school at Tri-C this fall.

Karly, Patient Advocate, joined BCPH this year and she has adopted a kitten that she named Oliver.

Brent, Patient Advocate, continues his studies at The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He can be found here at BCPH during vacation from vet school.

Katie, Patient Advocate, in her last year of studies at the University of Dayton, has applied to The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. We wish her well! (UPDATE:Katie has been accepted to OSU – Hurray!!!!!)

Kristen, Patient Advocate, is expecting her first child in the spring.

Colleen, Receptionist, is starting her second year of nursing school.

Deborrah, Receptionist, is now working full time at Big Creek.

Sedona, Receptionist, joined the BCPH Team in July.

Barbara, Groomer, has met many new furry friends and enjoys sending them all out “Stepping in Style”.

Heidi, Kennel Supervisor, a true pet lover, surrounds herself with 4 pugs, 1 crazy Cavalier puppy and 2 cats. She enjoys spending time with her delightful baby granddaughter.

Kaitlyn, Animal Caretaker, had the extraordinary opportunity to do scientific research on giant tortoises in the Galapagos Islands along with nine other students from Berea-Midpark High School. What an experience! (click here to see more about her trip)

Allison, Animal Caretaker, joined BCPH staff in 2013. She is an artist and has shown her work in the Cleveland Clinic Expressions Program.

Karen, Animal Caretaker, celebrates her daughter Lynette’s graduation from Hiram College and her son Ryan’s upcoming semester abroad in Australia.

Charlotte, Administrative Coordinator, enjoyed her latest cruise, this one to New England and Canada. She sure likes to travel
