Assisted Senior Pet Care Boarding

Are you missing the fun in the sun or the family reunion because you’re afraid to leave your special needs or geriatric pet home? Big Creek Pet Hospital is here to help you out during those special times away from home.  We have trained Kennel Assistants that will notify our medical team of any issues that may arise during the stay.  Our team will make sure all medications are given at the proper intervals and additional walks around the yard will be encouraged to keep joints moving.  We will also send you pictures throughout their stay so you can see how much your baby is enjoying their vacation.

Why special needs boarding instead of regular boarding?

Older pets, diabetics and pets with health issues should all board in our special needs section. The most common reasons people choose special needs boarding are:

• Diabetic care
• Cast or bandage care
• Special or extra meals.  Pet with very specific dietary needs will be in this category
• Senior/Geriatric dogs that need extra bedding and extra walks 
• Multiple medications pets
